The True Measure of Wealth: A Walk, A Hand, A Moment of Love
priceless lesson learned from a walk with an Alzheimer's patient

Date

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the endless pursuit of success, wealth, and material possessions.

But what truly matters in the end? Earlier today, I shared a quote: “It’s okay to own things, just don’t let things own you.” And after a deeply moving experience at my uncle’s memory care center last night, I felt compelled to share why this message resonates so strongly.

While visiting my uncle, a woman—one of the other residents—unexpectedly grabbed my hand. Though she rarely speaks, she led me on a walk, eventually stopping to embrace me, whispering, “I love you. Thank you for coming to spend time with me today.”

In that simple, heartfelt moment, I was reminded that the richest experiences in life don’t come from what we accumulate, but from the love, time, and presence we share with others.

Join me as I reflect on this powerful lesson in today’s video. 💙
